Overview

The Vice President of Banking is a key executive role responsible for the Go-To-Market (GTM) Profit & Loss (P&L) of Prove’s Banking business. This position leads the Banking New Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Onboarding.  The primary objective is to drive incremental revenue growth cost-effectively. The VP of Banking will collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and execution of the business strategy. While the primary focus is on top U.S.-based banks, international expansion presents additional growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and net revenue retention within the banking segment
  • P&L Management: Oversee the GTM P&L for the Banking business, ensuring profitability and financial health. This includes advising on growth investments, including  and adhering to operating budget
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and other departments to align GTM strategies and execution.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at top U.S. banks.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales, account management, customer success technical account management, and onboarding. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Track record of successfully scaling a profitable, worldwide sales organization.
  • 5-7 years of sales leadership with emphasis on building out a team
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience with SaaS or direct B2B high-tech solutions for banking
  • Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
  • Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
  • Experience in high-growth /pre-IPO Technology companies

The anticipated salary range for this role is $250,000 – $270,000 plus variable commission. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
