About the role
At Perkbox Vivup, our Ecommerce team focuses on enhancing the customer experience to boost conversions and optimise every interaction on our platform. As Trading Team Leader, you’ll oversee trading performance, driving margin and conversion growth through strategic merchandising and supplier partnerships. You’ll also collaborate with B2C CRM, Customer Services, and Trade and Revenue teams by delivering product forecasts and actionable trading insights
What You’ll Be Doing
Trading
- Own key trading KPIs, including baselines, seasonal trends, and performance tracking against targets.
- Ensure product accuracy across setup, pricing, categorisation, ranking, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Improve product listings and drive successful new product launches.
- Collaborate with Trade and Revenue to manage supplier relationships, optimise margins, address range gaps, and onboard suppliers.
- Work with core partners on forecasts, run rates, and stock management to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Communicate product launches and stock updates to key departments, ensuring alignment.
Merchandising
- Analyse data daily to maximise website sales and optimise internal search functionality.
- Maintain expertise in Vivup’s core product ranges, identifying trends and ensuring popular products are available.
- Oversee promotional activity to ensure compliance, engagement, and profitability.
- Drive sales and margin growth through effective management of recommended products and upselling.
- Partner with the B2C team to deliver quarterly communications plans, launch initiatives, and product insights.
Website Management
- Collaborate with Ecommerce to analyse customer behaviour, user journey, and UX/UI, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Understand Vivup and Perkbox audience interactions to tailor customer journeys effectively.
- Implement online marketing and category promotions to create a seamless multichannel experience.
- Support the Head of Ecommerce & Trading in developing and executing strategies to enhance website performance, including A/B testing and traffic/conversion initiatives.
Analytics
- Define and monitor KPIs for ecommerce journey developments.
- Continuously refine reporting processes and optimise data usage.
- Use Google Analytics to track customer behaviour and performance metrics.
- Monitor web analytics and internal data sources, preparing reports and actionable insights.
- Analyse product, category, and communication performance, making recommendations and implementing changes to drive results.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience in an online retail environment.
- Proven experience managing teams and collaborating with marketing and revenue departments.
- Track record of supporting trading strategy delivery.
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 and conversion rate optimisation.
- Ambitious and eager to develop new skills.
- Ability to motivate others and build effective networks to achieve goals.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to select products, price points, and promotions to drive sales.
- IT-savvy with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong influencing, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional planning and organisational skills.
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and open to new challenges, showcasing innovation and initiative.
The Interview Process
Our interview process involves 4 main stages:
- Application
- Short call with a member of the TA team
- 30-minute video call with Hiring Manager and one other team member
- Final Interview and task with two members of the team
