About the role

As a Talent Development Program Lead, you will play a key role in the creation and execution of talent development programs at Human Interest. You’ll be designing and managing programs that welcome our new hires and keep our employees learning, growing, and genuinely excited about what’s next in their career trajectory. As part of the People team, you will be a key contributor, mixing strategy with storytelling, designing resources, processes, and experiences that will shape careers and contribute to our high-performance culture.

What you get to do every day

  • Manage and execute talent programs, including new hire onboarding and ongoing employee growth and development.
  • Design, build, and deliver learning solutions through various mediums, including e-learning and instructor-led courses.
  • Document processes and update People Team resources in our intranet (Confluence)
  • Work cross-functionally to support the success of talent development programs. 
  • Coordinate and actively maintain clear communication with incoming employees, hiring managers, and stakeholders to keep the onboarding processes organized and seamless. 
  • Assess feedback and internal data to enhance, expand, change and/or adapt our offerings and ways of doing things. 
  • Build effective relationships with other internal organizations to support employee development.
  • Uphold Human Interest’s brand consistently through communications and experiences. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to creatively find ways to celebrate our culture and community. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on employee development efforts that will aid in retaining top talent. 
  • Provide administrative support for our Learning Management System (Docebo).
  • Manage and assist with People Team projects from inception to completion.

What you bring to the role

  • 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Instructional Design or related fields
  • Experience creating eLearning content using tools such as Articulate Rise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills in both in-person and virtual environments
  • A passion for solving problems and helping people
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Meticulous organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional skills
  • Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members

Compensation – At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the US. The base salary for this position spans $90,000 – $115,000 and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary that we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the US, their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall Total Rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonus, commission, and equity may be offered.
