Position Summary:
The Senior Finance Manager, Analytics & Technology will focus on strategic and exploratory analytics along with the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the financial systems. This role will collaborate with business leaders along with IT and finance to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and met. This individual will ensure that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently with proper security in place. This highly visible role is 100% remote and reports to the Senior Director Strategic Finance & Analytics.
Finance Analytics Responsibilities:
Scalable Reporting Solutions: Architect solutions that not only meet current business needs but that are also scalable and adaptable for future requirements. Ensure business models and processes align with broader business goals and technology infrastructure. Develop and operate scalable reporting, forecasting templates, and overall business intelligence infrastructure.
Reporting Cadence & Metrics: Support the finance team in the current reporting cadence of Monthly Forecasting, Quarterly Outlooks, Annual Operating Plans, and Long-Range Planning. Build ad hoc business cases and models for high impact, companywide initiatives, exploring new areas for investment tied to the existing reporting cadence. Assist in the definition and development of key performance indicators across the company.
Ad Hoc Analyses: Identify issues, develop hypotheses, and complete in-depth analyses to translate data into meaningful insights and make recommendations to leadership team based on your findings. Ad hoc analyses may include go-to-market reviews, sales productivity reviews, product or marketing return on investment, and comparisons of both internal and external benchmarking.
Presentation Creation: Support in the creation of impactful, compelling presentation materials that effectively communicate financial projections, drivers, performance, risks, and opportunities.
Technology Responsibilities:
Finance Transformation: Help drive the finance organization through technology advancement. Partner with Analytics and FP&A teams to streamline processes, improve data infrastructure, and avoid duplication of efforts across the business. Assist both the finance team and other teams throughout the organization with the automation of reporting packages allowing for time to be spent on analysis and decision making.
Best Practices and Innovation: Connect the team with the latest BI solutions, features, and industry best practices. Apply this knowledge to develop innovative solutions and enhance model building techniques that help drive the business forward.
Model Development and Enhancement: Provide strategic leadership in designing and implementing system and data architecture to support business objectives. Regularly reviewing and maintaining metrics and models to ensure optimal performance, including managing model size and complexity.
Technology Administration: Oversee the data integration processes, ensuring that data is accurately imported into and exported out of the respective systems. This includes managing data feeds and integrations with other systems. Responsible for creating and managing user accounts, roles, and permissions within the technology platforms owned by FP&A. Provide first-line support for end-users, addressing issues related to model access, data discrepancies, and general user queries.
Compliance and Security: Ensure that the financial system environment complies with organizational policies and data security standards.
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience
Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions and software
Ability to provide guidance and direction to subordinates within the parameters of MeridianLink policies
Ability to interpret financials within the scope of MeridianLink’s impact and longevity
Ability to execute financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce
Ability to work on issues requiring the analysis of data, and relevant factors and resolve problems
Ability to develop and manages routine operational plans
Ability to interact with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups. Interaction requires interpreting and explaining information to audiences familiar with the subject

Salary range of $150,000 – $236,400. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
