As Eventbrite continues to grow and expand its reach, the challenge of protecting our users from bad actors, ensuring the integrity of user accounts, and providing seamless and adaptive sign up, authentication, and identity proofing experiences becomes increasingly important. Our platform is used by millions of people worldwide to discover and attend events, and with this growth comes the responsibility to ensure that our users have a safe and secure experience. We take this responsibility seriously and are committed to providing the best possible protection for our users. This is where you come in.
THE TEAM
You will be joining a dedicated team of professionals focused on optimizing the authentication and sign-up experience for our users while ensuring that our platform is protected from threats posed by bots and bad actors. Our team is made up of experts in identity, fraud prevention, data science, and user behavior analysis. We work collaboratively to develop and implement capabilities that delight users and thwart attackers. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure environment for our users to discover and attend events, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for this mission.
You will have end to end ownership of the customer authentication and sign-up experience for millions of Eventbrite creators and attendees. You’ll set a compelling long-term vision for our identity services and define the strategy, roadmap, and tactical steps to get there. You are passionate about the customer experience, comfortable balancing friction for end users with the safety and security of the platform, and adept at incorporating leading-edge identity and access management capabilities. You are comfortable making data driven product decisions supported by metrics, user research, and user behavior monitoring on our platform to identify opportunities for optimization and to minimize risk and impact from account-related attacks. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role in which you will work with multiple stakeholders, other product managers, engineers, data scientists, designers, and integrity operations experts, both within and across business units. Your role is critical in ensuring that our users have a seamless and reliable authentication and onboarding experience while protecting our platform from threats.
