About the Opportunity

As a Senior Manager you’ll be the localized expert and first People-team hire in the EMEA region. This dynamic role is responsible for a wide range People-related services and functions: the administration of the EMEA-specific benefits programs, the triage point for employees in the region and escalating within our People team or cross-functional team for support, developing new and novel process documentation specific to the region, bringing feedback and insights to the People team to inform global or region-specific program design, as well as stabilizing existing People-processes in our current entities and preparing to expand into new countries.

With their in-depth knowledge of the regional needs, the Senior Manager will articulate a roadmap for and execute against the roadmap, staying both regionally specific while maintaining connection to the Global People Team strategy.  This role is highly cross-functional partner with other teams that support the region: IT, Business Operations, Finance, Legal and local leadership and managers. The Senior Manager will also interact with a wide range of vendors (PEOs, insurance brokers, contingent workforce) as well as across the People Team (People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Talent Success).  This role will fall under the People Operations function, reporting into the Director of People Operations.

 

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Execute and deliver people experiences, processes and programs for our various international/non-US countries including UK, Poland, Netherlands (with additional countries expected to come online in the near future)
  • Serve as the people operations and benefits subject matter expert within region
  • Manage the relationships with our UK, Poland, Netherlands benefits carriers, partners and any PEOs servicing other countries in the region.
  • Manage and maintain UK, Poland and Netherlands leave of absence administration
  • Provide input and thought leadership for our globalized People strategy; Evaluate, recommend, build a roadmap for any region-specific technology or data needs, services or new programs.
  • Proactively interface with business leadership to understand unique people-needs, risks, and challenges; communicate and advocate for these these needs to the broader People team to ensure design requirements are met

What You’ll Bring

  • 4-7 years experience of People Operations and Benefits experience; multinational experience strongly preferred ideally in Poland, UK, and/or Netherlands.
  • A desire for and experience in executing operational excellence to enable scaling and stabilization in the region.
  • Confidence with data and analytics; this role will engage with data in Google Sheets, Excel, and Looker. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, organization, time management, problem solving and follow-up skills. 
  • The ability to build consensus and drive alignment across many internal and external stakeholders, teams, and vendors.
  • Strong Project and portfolio management experience; ability to track and report against multiple projects simultaneously and communicate frequent updates, roadblocks, and risks.
  • Comfort  in a remote environment, self motivated to work asynchronously and independently as the manager for this role sits within the central US. 
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency, collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
