What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Lead to oversee and optimize our martech stack for edX Enterprise.  As the Marketing Operations lead, you will play a crucial role in managing tools such as Pardot, 6Sense, Drift, Outreach, WordPress, and Segment. This position involves close collaboration with SDRs, Sales AEs, RevOps, and Salesforce engineering teams to streamline processes and drive marketing efficiency.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Martech Stack Management:

  • Oversee and optimize the performance of our martech stack, including Pardot, 6Sense, Drift, Outreach, WordPress, and Segment.
  • Ensure seamless integration and data flow between different platforms.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for Pardot and other tools, managing user access, permissions, and system configurations
  • Stay current on Pardot updates and new features, implementing best practices to maximize platform capabilities
  • Provide training and support to marketing teams on Pardot functionality
  • Own and manage the marketing tech stack, ensuring that we are not paying for tools that are unused or underutilized, managing renewals and contracts

Collaboration with Sales and SDR Teams:

  • Work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Sales Account Executives (AEs) to understand their needs and align marketing operations accordingly.
  • Implement processes that enhance lead generation, qualification, and conversion.

RevOps Partnership:

  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations (RevOps) to align marketing strategies with overall revenue goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing workflows and processes.

Salesforce Integration:

  • Work closely with Salesforce engineering teams to ensure proper integration with our martech stack.
  • Leverage Salesforce data for targeted marketing campaigns and accurate reporting.

Data Segmentation and Analysis:

  • Utilize Segment to segment and analyze customer data for personalized and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve marketing effectiveness.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Proven experience in marketing operations with expertise in managing a diverse martech stack.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pardot, 6Sense, Drift, Outreach, WordPress, and Segment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration and data-driven marketing practices.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.

While this position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., we will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Lanham, MD two days a week.

Working Conditions 

Overtime is not a requirement of the job but flexibility is required to accommodate US, UK and South African time zones.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($115,000 – $130,000), with potential bonus eligibility.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
