We’re looking for a Senior Manager to support our Cloud Services team.
This can be a remote position (must be located in the United States).
Position Summary
The Cloud Services Senior Manager at Coalfire plays a crucial role in driving the organization’s business and practice direction. They possess strong communication skills, technical writing abilities, and expertise in cloud architecture, project management, marketing, and sales support. They are responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships and actively managing project progress and resources. Additionally, they coordinate go-to-market strategies for new services and play a vital role in shaping the overall direction and success of the practice. People management, mentorship, recruiting, and training are also key responsibilities, ensuring the development and growth of both the team and the practice as a whole.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as Solutions Architect and engagement lead for client projects
- Support thought leadership activities (blog/white papers/webinars)
- Lead delivery support of sales team on client sales calls
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key client stakeholders
- Track and understand clients’ evolving needs
- Allocate resources, such as personnel and budgets, appropriately
- Manage multiple team tracks of consultants/specialists/delivery
- Work with other departments to determine marketing strategies for external campaigns
What You’ll Bring
- BS or above in related Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience managing teams of 3-7 individuals
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- 3-5 years directly supporting at least one of the following cloud IaaS providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Conversational knowledge of orchestration and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Critical thinking, and ability to balance security requirements with mission needs
- Exampled relationship management and ability to work with C-Suite
- Project management experience for individual and team projects (ability to track detailed tasks and ensure timely delivery)
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment
Bonus Points
- Previous experience mentoring or managing consultants in a professional services organization
- Cloud-based networking experience (Palo Alto, Cisco ASAv, etc.…)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, etc.
- PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CISA
- Familiarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG
- Experience with MS Project and Visio

At Coalfire, equal opportunity and pay equity is integral to the way we do business. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role is $94,000 to $163,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
