About the role 

Join our dynamic and newly founded Analytics team as a Senior Game Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of game analytics at Fortis. Your expertise will be key in defining best practices, establishing new methodologies, and identifying valuable insights that will drive our games to new heights. As a trusted analytics partner to our games teams, your impactful analyses will influence game development from Soft Launch to Worldwide Launch. Collaborating with the wider data department, you’ll tackle complex analytics challenges, contributing to ingenious solutions that enhance our team’s efficiency.

What you’ll achieve 

• Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behavior of players to address strategic and operational questions
• Work with all organization from engineering to marketing, to improve the performance of teams’ initiatives
• Develop frameworks, models, and tools to ensure data is accessible and influences decisions at all levels
• Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions using analytics to iterate on game design, features, economies, and product roadmaps
• Present your findings in a comprehensive way to audiences, from technical to non-technical audiences.

What you’ll need to be successful

• Previous experience in game analytics or analytics in social tech, games, mobile or consumer web applications
• Advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques knowledge 
• Expert in SQL and comfort querying large and complex datasets
• Expert of Python/R 
• Experience with Looker is a plus
• Strong Experience with Telemetry: design analytics events, coordinate implementation and QA
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize tasks autonomously
• Excellent English communication skills, written and oral
• Passionate about Analytics and staying up-to-date
• Experience with mentoring more junior analysts
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus. Master’s degree preferred.
