About The Role
As the Team Lead of Project Managers at Extropy, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our project management team. You will not only lead and mentor a group of talented project managers but also take on your own projects and accounts, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.

Leadership and Team Development
· Team Leadership: Inspire your team to achieve goals and targets, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
· Performance Management: Set performance goals and objectives, conduct regular evaluations, provide feedback, and mentor individuals for professional growth.
· Team Development: Identify training needs and arrange programs to enhance project management skills and competencies.
Project Management and Oversight
· Project Oversight: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
· Project Planning: Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
· Risk Management: Ensure project managers identify and mitigate risks effectively, taking proactive measures to minimize potential issues.
· Quality Assurance: Promote adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration
· Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project managers and stakeholders, including clients and other departments.
· Collaboration and Coordination: Foster collaboration among project managers, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork.
· Issue Resolution: Handle escalated client issues and assist project managers in resolving conflicts.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
· Operational Changes: Implement new operational changes within the team and partner with the Director of Operations to manage and lead the PM team.
· Continuous Improvement: Ensure ongoing enhancement of Extropy processes and provide feedback on the PM experience.
· Reporting and Documentation: Report to the Director of Operations to maintain a close tie to the Extropy mission, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of project status and key metrics.
Budget and Resource Management
· Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively among projects, considering workload, skills, and expertise of team members.
· Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
Candidate Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· 5+ years of experience leading a team of Project Managers or similar
· 5+ years of experience in Customer Success with SaaS products, particularly with implementation projects
· Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance improvement
· Skilled in tactical execution and strategic consulting, using both to establish trust with customers
· Ability to lead discovery, understand customer needs, and leverage product knowledge for solutions
· Advanced problem-solving skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills across all stakeholder levelsExcellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
