Role Overview:

As a Product Manager at FERMÀT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the direction of our e-commerce platform. You will report to our Product Lead and be responsible for driving value for the business and our customers. Working closely with our customers and internal cross-functional teams, you will determine what features to build to support our product strategy and drive customer value. You’ll conduct user research and analyze data, prioritize and define product features, work with design and engineering to ensure effective feature delivery, and drive adoption amongst our customer base. You’ll ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our users while contributing to our mission of transforming how brands connect with their audiences and sell online.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer discovery through customer calls, user research, and usability studies to gather insights that inform product decisions and improvements.

  • Prioritize and define product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop detailed product requirements and ensure timely and effective feature delivery.

  • Track and report on the progress of product development projects, including identifying any risks or blockers and working with the team to resolve them.

  • Help manage the product backlog and assist in planning sprints and release cycles.

  • Contribute to the creation of tasks, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the final product meets customer needs and expectations.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in e-commerce and product management to suggest innovative solutions that enhance our platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. However, we are open to a wide range of experiences, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a nontraditional background!

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in the e-commerce, SaaS, or the technology sector.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using customer insights and data to drive decision-making.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and leading product initiatives to successful outcomes.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and user-centered design principles.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
