This internship is in exchange for college credit or a work-study program.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
Support HR team in coordinating and scheduling interviews and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
Aid in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating training programs.
Assist with maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, organizing files, and preparing reports as needed.
Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices and procedures.
Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources management within the hospitality industry.

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.
Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for supporting the growth and development of employees.
