This internship is in exchange for college credit or a work-study program.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
    • Support HR team in coordinating and scheduling interviews and ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Aid in the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome materials, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating training programs.
  • Assist with maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including managing correspondence, organizing files, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices and procedures.
  • Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources management within the hospitality industry.

Requirements: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution.
  • Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for supporting the growth and development of employees.
