Manager, Learning and Talent Development
Position
Reporting to the Director of Learning and Talent Development (L&D), this role is internally and outwardly facing in scope. It is ideal for an experienced L&D professional who thrives in a high-growth, fast-moving, and highly collaborative, matrixed environment, who is committed to delivering engaging, agile, scalable, and most importantly, impactful learning experiences to various departments and teams at PosiGen. This individual works with a spirit of positive “can do” energy, flexibility, attention to detail, and proactiveness. This role will be a “working manager” role and will require actual training delivery, as well as management of a small team of L&D Training Specialists. Applicants should be natural facilitators and collaborators who are comfortable hosting live events and virtual events when needed.
This role will be focused on developing our internal teams, as well as providing L&D support to our Channel Partner business. Focuses to include aiding in the; increase of sales velocity within our Direct and Channel sales networks. This hands-on role will liaise closely with PosiGen Sales Leadership, PosiGen Operations Leadership, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Channel Partners as well as cross-functional partners. The goal of driving time to productivity for both our Direct Sales and Channel Partners business, which ultimately impacts customer satisfaction and success, is paramount.
Responsibilities
- Leads strategy, development, and execution of development programs for direct PosiGen as well as provide services to our Channel Partner business.
- Builds and reinforces the mindset, skills, and culture to rally the teams around process, tools & techniques to succeed and scale
- Creates holistic engagement strategies that drive business standards while accommodating regional uniqueness that empowers teams and resonates with PosiGen philosophies and goals
- Leads and be accountable for the development, adoption, and ongoing success of programs, content, and tools that build process knowledge, management skills, and expert selling skills.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships and collaborate with key members of the Sales Management teams, Product teams, Platform teams, Marketing, Customer Experience, Customer Success, and extended members of the sales teams in both the direct and channel sides of the business.
- Collects and listens to the “voice of the field” through direct Sales Representative and Sales Leader’s feedback on sales enablement plans, delivery, and execution for future improvements
- Supports the development of and alignment with change management strategies and related communication plans relative to the business strategy, plan, and execution
- Leads and supports business initiatives as required to include strategy, planning, and execution to solve complex challenges
- Creates regular reports to track and communicate progress to key stakeholders
- Makes comprehensive tactical recommendations impacting content, development, delivery and communication in line with overall Team strategies
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Training, Organizational Development or similar disciplines is preferred
- 8+ years of experience in L&D, with an emphasis on sales organizations or sales roles; B2B, B2C, Outside Sales, Inside Sales; any combination thereof
- 3+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer sales in the solar industry
- Intimate knowledge and experience with small businesses in the solar industry
- Experience delivering virtual learning and development experiences (e.g., Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.)
- Proficiency with desktop software such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite
- Experience with learning development and training authoring software (e.g., Camtasia, Snagit, Articulate Rise, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Proficiency with PC, Android, Mac and Apple platforms

Working Conditions
- Open-office environment at HQ, Remote-office environment if remote.
- Travel required up to 25%. Note: PosiGen HQ is based in St. Rose, LA, but qualified applicants may work remotely, and relocation to LA is not required.
