Complete monthly, quarterly and year-end tasks in accordance with the operating indicators defined in the department and the organization
Coordinate with the agencies and financial departments the recording accounting transactions necessary to report the financial statements in HFM
Being the main contact with the agencies solving ad-hoc questions that require investigation. Propose solutions and escalate your queries accordingly
Support the process of internal, FMC and external audits, maintaining controls of the complete and correct operating procedures, as well as providing the requested information
Prepare and analyze balance sheet account reconciliations. Follow up open items and coordinate the necessary adjustments in accounting that there are no differences or open items without proper justification
Prepare and/or review accounting entries and ensure they are properly documented
Escalate issues and deviations from the standard process to management
Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement of processes related to the department to establish new strategies and apply the best practices
Create and update the manuals of the processes in charge
Prepare, analyze and present all local taxes
Qualifications
Technical Accounting Degree or Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (50% progress for candidates with technical degree)
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance (80% progress for candidates without technical degree)
At least 1 to 2 of years experience in similar positions in SSC (desirable).
