Planet A is looking for an General HR Manager based in Germany (f/m/n). Part-time (20 hours/week)

We are seeking an HR Generalist to strengthen our team by managing a range of internal HR responsibilities, including recruitment, HR operations, and learning and development. Your role will be crucial in fostering our organization’s growth, ensuring we attract, retain, and develop top talent to achieve our goals together.

Tasks
  • Oversee the full employee life cycle, managing tasks from recruitment to off-boarding, including contracts, references, and certifications to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Drive recruitment efforts by advising on new position requirements, creating and posting job advertisements, and pre-selecting suitable candidates.
  • Continuously implement and manage all HR processes and data in our HRIS (Personio), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prepare wage-relevant data for payroll accounting and certification, serving as the primary interface for payroll coordination.
  • Generate and analyze key HR metrics and reports, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Lead high-demand HR workshops and training sessions to foster knowledge and development within the team.
  • Manage the regular internal feedback process, including preparation, monitoring, and follow-up, to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide general support on team-related topics, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
Requirements
  • A degree in business administration, human resources or comparable education
  • Professional experience in personnel administration, human resource, talent acquisition and / or recruiting, preferably in the startup or VC environment
  • An empathetic personality and self-starter who is able to work independently and take initiative
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting and ideally social security and payroll tax
  • Fluent in or native English and German
  • Strong analytical skills to optimise recruiting processes on a regular basis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
