Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst who has the ambition to help drive Dungarvin’s performance by utilizing data to tell a story. This is not an IT role. 

You’ll dive into the world of data, crafting reports, solving issues, and uncovering insights that will revolutionize operations. Your main quest? Harnessing the power of Dungarvin’s EHR system, Therap, and beyond, to deliver actionable information that fuels quality improvements, ensures national standards compliance, and seamlessly integrates acquired companies.

  • Perform data cleansing and data transformation to ensure data accuracy and consistency for analysis.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to improve the reporting process as well as areas of underperformance. While providing explanations and interpretations of the data aka what story is the data telling us…
  • Generate reports and dashboards to present data findings clearly and understandably to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and data mining to answer specific healthcare-related questions and support research initiatives.
  • Develop and implement data analysis methodologies, statistical models, and data visualization techniques to interpret healthcare data.
  • Help oversee the Therap rollout for acquired companies, making sure they follow national standards and best practices. We’ll be transitioning these companies to Dungarvin’s Electronic Health Record (EHR), and we’ll use reports to check how smoothly the rollout is going.
Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Minimum of 4 years working with data analysis as a primary function of role;  preferably in health and human services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, and analytical tool’s such as Tableau or PowerBI (knowledge of key functions such as Pivot Tables and the use of key formulas such as Vlookups and SumIf statements).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead projects.
  • Intermediate level of data analysis and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills through a variety of mediums, including but not limited to speaking, writing, presenting ideas, and educating others.
  • Experience in standardizing and automating reports and metrics.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, information management, social work, psychology, human services, disability services, developmental disabilities, quality assurance, or data analytics.
  • A thorough understanding of Therap Services.
  • Experience working with Data Governance and long-term database development.
  • A thorough understanding of Dungarvin’s or like provider services.Healthcare. DD/IDD or social services
