Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving Ladders’ growth through strategic partnerships and alliance development. This leadership position requires a unique blend of business development acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue-Generating Partnership Development and Management
– Lead the strategy and execution of revenue-generating partnerships across multiple product lines and channels-
– Develop and manage relationships with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) providers to integrate Ladders’ job
postings and resume search capabilities, creating seamless experiences for employers and candidates
– Establish and grow partnerships with job boards and career information sites to expand Ladders’ professional
services offerings, including resume-writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and cover letter services
– Create and implement partnership pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and Ladders’ value
proposition
– Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners while nurturing existing relationships to maximize
revenue potential
Strategic Planning and Execution
– Develop comprehensive partnership strategies aligned with Ladders’ overall business objectives
– Create and execute detailed implementation plans for each partnership, including technical integration
roadmaps, marketing initiatives, and revenue sharing models
– Monitor partnership performance metrics and optimize programs to achieve revenue targets- Collaborate with
internal teams including product, engineering, and marketing to ensure successful partnership launches and
ongoing operations
Team Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration
– Work closely with the CEO to define partnership priorities and resource allocation
– Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure partner needs are met and partnerships are properly supported
– Build and manage a partnerships team as the business grows
– Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy and growth initiatives
Required Qualifications
Partnership Experience
8+ years of demonstrated experience in driving revenue through partnerships, preferably in HR tech, SaaS, or related industries
Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and launching successful partnerships that drive meaningful revenue
Experience working with technical products and managing complex integration projects
Deep understanding of the job search, recruiting, and HR technology landscape
Leadership and Business Acumen
Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities
Excellence in relationship building and stakeholder management at all levels
Proven ability to operate independently in unstructured environments and create order from ambiguity
Experience in revenue forecasting, business modeling, and partnership economics
Personal Qualities
High agency and resourcefulness with the ability to create opportunities and drive results without significant oversight
Creative problem-solver who can find innovative ways to structure partnerships and overcome obstacles
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
Strong project management capabilities and attention to detail- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment

Location
This is a remote position based in the United States. Some travel may be required for partner meetings and company gatherings.
