We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at our European fintech startup. Our startup serves over 500,000 customers across Europe and develops banking products for customers with 500+ microservices on board.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the development of cutting-edge fintech services leveraging an established AWS-based platform.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to design and implement efficient technical solutions, encompassing CI/CD implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Take charge of incident management on production environments, ensuring seamless operations and swift resolution of issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Proficiency in a range of tools and technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloudflare, Istio, GitLab, ArgoCD, Helm and Ansible.
• Strong command of Linux systems.
• Expertise in databases such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, Postgres, Redis and MongoDB.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in shell/bash scripting and at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Victoria Metrics or similar time-series databases.
• Prior experience in designing complex, scalable services with high load and availability.
• Familiarity with developing Kubernetes operators.
• Background in IT systems design.
