SUMMARY

The Deal Strategist will have the responsibility of advising on deal structure in support of our Sales department.  In addition, the role will provide critical support for the creation and changes to product Skus, discount approval process and questions regarding client billing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a critical member of the global team that acts as a key enabler of deal formation and execution with a focus on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities.
  • Assist with non-standard deal requests, structuring complex deals, driving cross-functional and cross-solution collaboration.
  • Update key terms on quotes and review them to ensure accuracy.
  • Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints and enforcement of standard business practices and policies.
  • Work closely with operational teams to implement pricing changes effectively.
  • Track, monitor and forecast Client renewal billings on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or technical discipline.
  • 4+ years demonstrated deal desk and deal strategy experience.
  • Experience in dealing with complex, cross-functional deal management across sales, finance, and legal.
  • Superior analytical background with strong problem-solving skills,
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Ironclad preferred.
