Responsibilities:
  • Analyze engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application problems, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities and workflow.
  • Design, develop, modify, and implement ETL-based data solutions for business applications leveraging geospatial, analytical, and statistical methods in collaboration with statistical and product teams.
  • Develop and design scalable database structures and ensure their stability, reliability, and performance and work with other developers.
  • Test new product solutions and tools including debugging, using best practices, and suggesting new standards to improve the efficiency of current processes.
  • Perform Microsoft SQL and cloud-based SQL programming and automation using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Alteryx, S3, and Redshift.
  • Provide expertise and technical support to the data science, sales, and product teams to manage iterations and preserve client success.
  • Execute Microsoft SQL Server DBA-related tasks.
  • Write and maintain user documentation in accordance with team practices. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related database engineering or database administration role (will also accept one (1) year of experience in a related database engineering or database administration role for each missing year of bachelor’s degree-level education).
  • Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience in/with: implementing, maintaining, and performance tuning Transact-SQL stored procedures and complex query writing; designing databases and schemas using Microsoft SQL; performing automation, data integration, identifying patterns, and performance evaluation for databases and other external data sources using Alteryx or equivalent ETL software; and working with Business-To-Business (B2B), Consumer Computer Assisted Web Interview (CAWI) and Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) survey-based studies; and creating and modifying Alteryx workflows and Analytical applications. 
·       May work remotely from anywhere in U.S. or from any Dun & Bradstreet U.S. office.
