About the role:
Data is the backbone of what we are building at Equip–we use it everyday to support business processes, measure our success, and inform our decisions. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join us in creating meaningful analyses that improve patient lives and help Equip grow.
As a Data Analyst at Equip, you’ll have opportunities to develop reporting and analyses that impact all of our business domains–including Clinical Operations, Growth & Strategy, Product, and more. The right person for this role is an analytical thinker, effective communicator, is detail oriented, works comfortably in fast-paced environments, and collaborates well with others.
Responsibilities
Building data models and automated reports
Visualizing & storytelling with data
Participating in Quality Assurance (QA) and Peer Review processes to ensure data quality
Training/assisting users of our Business Intelligence (BI) platform
Performing ad-hoc analyses as needed
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools (Mode, Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, Quicksight, etc.)
Proficient in SQL
Experience with statistical scripting / analysis tools (Python, R, etc.)
Ability to write clear, maintainable, extensible and testable code
Familiarity with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
Experience with Git / GitHub
Experience communicating and collaborating with diverse teams
Organized and results-driven
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that is subject to rapid change and innovation
Bonus if you have the following:
A masters degree in a health-related field (e.g., public health, social work, nutrition)
Experience with healthcare data and/or previous experience working in healthtech
Experience with dbt and AWS services (Glue, Athena)Familiarity with A/B testing techniques
Passion for mental health, eating disorder treatment, and expanding access to treatment
