AHEAD is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to help build out the compliance function and provide counseling to AHEAD’s sales team and stakeholders. You will report to AHEAD’s Corporate Counsel, Compliance. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
Work closely with internal stakeholders as well as customers, vendors, and regulators, as necessary;
Manage compliance-related projects for current and evolving laws and obligations;
Assist in designing, implementing, and managing effective compliance programs;
Assist with the preparation of compliance reports for senior management and regulatory agencies;
Assist with data privacy related requests and audits, as necessary; and
Assess and minimize sources of risk, with appropriate escalations as necessary.
Qualifications
Knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, TCPA) and experience with GDPR;
Experience interacting with or working for government agencies;
Expertise in drafting and reviewing a broad range of policies;
Expertise in Microsoft tools, including PowerPoint and Excel;
Project or program management experience;
Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills; and
Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
