Location: Remote – Michigan, US. Candidates MUST be based in the US to be considered.  

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Manager, you will create, grow, and foster relationships with clients. You will ensure the success of partnerships by understanding their needs, aligning them with our organization’s goals, and driving collaborative efforts to achieve mutual success. You will serve as a point of contact for all partners, coordinating activities, resolving issues, and creating a positive and productive working relationship.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Heavy focus on creating National JV’s for both affiliate and non-affiliate business.

  • Log all tracking activity and campaigns into our CRM.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and ensure alignment with partnerships.

  • Serve as the point of contact for partners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner.

  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s business model, goals, and challenges to identify areas where our organizations can collaborate effectively.

  • Drive strategic initiatives that support the growth and success of partnerships.

  • Collaborate with One Real Title Leaders to develop business plans, outlining objectives, strategies, and key performance indicators for clients.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams within both organizations to execute initiatives effectively. 

  • Monitor progress against established goals and adjust as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the partnership, working closely with internal teams and external partners to find mutually beneficial solutions.

  • Act as a mediator when necessary to facilitate productive discussions and resolve disputes.

  • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on the status of partnerships, highlighting achievements, challenges, areas for improvement, and the impact of initiatives.

  • Compile and analyze data to generate insights and reports that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Previous experience in real estate, lending, or title is preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing market conditions and business priorities. 

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships and driving customer satisfaction. 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Customer Success/Account Management, business development, or partnership management. 

  •  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  •  Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and drive results.

  •  Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data to support decision-making.

  •  Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in the joint venture or strategic partnership space is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce is preferred) and Google Suite.
