Job Description:

Avetta is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Agile Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the successful implementation and continuous improvement of our software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for our clients. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure the iterative delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs and maximize business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile program & project management activities, including big room planning, release planning, portfolio/program backlog grooming, scrum of scrums, program sync, and cross team retrospectives, to facilitate the iterative development and delivery of Avetta’s SaaS solutions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Business Stakeholders, Agile teams, DevOps team, fostering clear communication, managing expectations, and resolving any impediments or blockers to the progress of Strategic Initiatives.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of the Initiative roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with people managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels & skills are available for strategic Initiatives.
  • Monitor team capacity and workload to ensure teams are not overcommitted.
  • Partner with product management to elicit and prioritize Initiatives, Features, OKRs and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with Agile teams, including Development, Product Management, Design, and Quality Assurance, to ensure cross-functional alignment and successful delivery of Initiative milestones.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies, leveraging Agile principles and practices to maintain project momentum and deliver value on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices to ensure the rapid and reliable deployment of software updates and enhancements to production environments.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching sessions to empower teams and stakeholders with Scaled Agile framework and best practices.
  • Create and manage metrics like feature burnup/burndown, lead time, cycle time, CFD, feature completion rate, escaped defects etc. to ensure the success of strategic initiatives and overall health of programs.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability across Agile teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Agile project management, ideally within the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading multiple concurrent Agile software development projects from inception to delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean Agile principles, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other Enterprise Agility frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills, demonstrating the ability to cultivate strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Possesses an adaptable and resilient mindset, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and leveraging change as a driver for innovation and organizational advancement.
  • Proficient skills using Jira, Confluence, and Enterprise Agile Tools (Jira Align, Wrike).
