As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will manage all activities in the accounts payable function to ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, maintain accurate accruals and accounts payable reporting.  

 Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee reports regarding cash flow; ensure correct payments are made in a timely manner 
  • Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account records 
  • Analyzes expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment 
  • Manage all banking activity, including accurate set up and approval of wire transfers and payments (check, credit card and ACH) 
  • Prepare monthly accruals and account reconciliations 
  • Manage invoice review and approval process 
  • Facilitates correct and timely preparation of budget reports  
  • Ensures proper recordkeeping for use in tax preparation and periodic audits 
  • Assist with audit requests for documentation 
  • Analyze, research and resolve invoice inconsistencies and discrepancies, including reviewing account statements 
  • Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records  
  • Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required 
  • Maintain access to vendor portals and business systems accounts, including users and invoices 
  • Assist with insurance billing and document requests 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance  
  • Five (5) years of accounts payable experience with at least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent supervisory and analytical skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience with property management and/or franchising preferred 
  • Experience with SAGE ERP preferred 
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-look up 

Compensation:  

$90-95,000/year
