The Role
The Senior Product Marketing Manager will provide strategic leadership and own the go-to-market strategy for BeyondTrust’s Endpoint Privilege Management product portfolio. The Senior PMM performs a key role in working with cross-functional teams to independently drive the go-to-market strategy for EPM products to deliver positive results and growth for the business. This includes bringing new products and product releases to market, crafting messaging and positioning, delivering content for campaigns and enablement, and monitoring and optimizing to drive success in terms of demand generation, conversion, revenue growth, and market leadership. This role will adopt a leadership position within the Product Marketing+ team, helping to forge new processes and raise the level of performance across the team.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and independently drive the go-to-market strategy for BeyondTrust’s Endpoint Privilege Management product portfolio and work with cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution across content, marketing campaign activities, demand generation, sales and partner enablement, and analyst relations.
- Continuously monitor the impact of go-to-market strategies and optimize to drive continued success in terms of funnel and pipeline growth, conversion rates across the selling cycles, revenue growth, and market leadership.
- Maintain a leadership position within the Product Marketing+ team, helping to pioneer new processes, content, and approaches for the team and working to align and elevate the level of performance across the team.
- Embed closely with product management team to conduct customer research and analyze market and competitor trends and influence the roadmap and future vision of the product portfolio.
- Create and evolve buyer personas that accurately capture the different potential buyers of EPM products, including their jobs to be done, problems, pain points, and desired outcomes. Define, manage, and evolve differentiated competitive messaging and market positioning that speak to buyer personas utilizing customer, market, and competitive research.
- Deliver and manage content to assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and demand generation programs.
- Lead the go-to-market strategy for new launches, including for both entirely new products and new releases of existing products, driving messaging and positioning, content creation, demand generation, sales and partner enablement, and competitive differentiation alongside cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders, including executive management, product management, UX, engineering, sales, operations, marketing, training, and support functions.
- Evangelize BeyondTrust’s EPM products and strategies to sales and partner teams, as well as analysts and customers through public speaking, written, and other communications.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in technology product marketing, product management, or Pre-Sales
- BA/BS degree
- Product Marketing certification (Pragmatic, Product Marketing Alliance, Sirius Decisions, etc.)
- Direct experience marketing software-based IT security products (privileged access management, identity and access management, compliance or security technologies and markets) highly desired
- Have a proven track record of successful results in terms of GTM activities, product launches, and revenue and business growth
- Demonstrated ability to learn new and complex technologies so that concepts can be communicated at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with customers to understand requirements, position solutions and develop differentiated offerings and GTM plans
- Excellent track record of independent performance against goals
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Work product: GTM plans, blogs, videos, whitepapers, datasheets, or other assets
Nice To Have
- Direct experience marketing software-based IT security products (privileged access management, identity and access management, compliance or security technologies and markets) is highly desired
- MBA preferred but not required.
