The Assignment
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations related to payroll, benefits, and people administration duties within our EMEA region, with specific focus on managing our UK & Benelux countries. Your diligence and expertise with solid understanding of payroll regulations, benefits and People & Culture (HR) generalist operations will be instrumental in ensuring accurate, efficient and collaborative working.
Things you will be working on
· Prepare UK & Benelux monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with applicable payroll laws and regulations ensuring accuracy and timeliness
· In coordination with your People Operations Manager, conduct review and finalize payroll processing
· In coordination with your People Operations Manager, conduct pre and post payroll audits to guarantee accuracy of payments and internal control compliance
· Continuous review and analyse of current payroll processes, recommending improvement and documentation of best practices, utilizing our suite of tools to enhance efficiencies contribute to
· Support and process all contractual changes both in systems and with documentation to the employee
· Manage the ad-hoc query portal, our ‘People Portal’ in a timely and efficient manner
· Perform other duties as assigned by the People Operations Manager
· Administrate employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans for both UK and Benelux
· Stay up to date about changes in employment laws and regulations across the UK and Benelux
· Continuous data management utilizing HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to input and maintain employee data
· Maintain accuracy of employee files
· Contribute to payroll and benefit related projects as required
· Assist with development and maintenance of People & Culture policies and procedures
· Build strong partnerships with internal customers
· Foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization by offering guidance and support ensuring a supportive and responsive employee experience
What you need to be successful
· A strong and demonstrable background in an HR/ People & Culture role – this role touches many aspects across the People & culture space
· Adaptability – this role will be working across multiple countries & cultures; namely the UK and Benelux
· Focus & Drive – you’ll be involved in multiple transformation projects as well as “business as usual activities”
· Technology literacy – we use HiBob as our HRIS, and also many Atlassian tools for collaboration – Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
· Strong prioritization skills – we are a fast growing organisation
· Superb time management and multi tasking abilities
· Detailed oriented with exceptional organizational, and analytical skills
· Excellent stakeholder management
· Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation
· A proactive approach to working collaboratively with other People Operations Coordinators in other countries
· Exceptional verbal and written communicator
· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement of practices and willing to share opinions

Location
This role is fully remote and business travel may be required. Our location preference is United Kingdom.
