As the Revenue Operations Business Analyst, you will be the backbone of our sales operations, working closely with the sales team and leadership to optimize processes, improve performance, and ensure data integrity. Your role is critical to the success of our sales organization as you drive alignment between sales, marketing, finance, and customer success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze, document, and refine sales workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain data integrity within the CRM and other sales tools, generate detailed reports, and deliver actionable insights on key metrics (pipeline health, win rates, sales velocity, etc.).
  • Performance Analytics: Track and analyze sales team performance against KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Tool Administration: Oversee and optimize sales technologies (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools), ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure seamless lead management, accurate forecasting, and alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Forecasting Support: Assist in the development and monitoring of accurate sales forecasts, leveraging historical data and current market trends.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and maintain training materials for sales tools and processes, supporting team onboarding and continuous education.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with standard Salesforce objects: (Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts) and what data is contained in each. Example – must be able to confidently navigate the Account and Opportunity objects to find specific data fields and understand what other fields/objects are affected when an edit is made. This would be crucial to help log changes in close dates, ARR values, opportunity owner, etc…
  • Experience with building custom reports: this is a must have as custom reports are our baseline for all pipeline reporting. Putting together custom reports is also a great way to validate data and build out some form of automation in terms of pipeline tracking.
  • Understanding what Stages and Forecast categories are used for: having a general understanding of a sales cycle and what the forecast categories / stages are used for would be very helpful, especially because this person will be involved with pipeline reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner.
  • Experience supporting quota-carrying sales teams is a plus.
  • A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
