🌍 How does Finalis work?

 

• We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .

• If you’re located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.

• Although we don’t have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.

• Your Role: As a Junior QA, you’ll play a pivotal role in our engineering department, contributing to the enhancement of software quality at Finalis to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

• What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, thorough, and dedicated to upholding software quality standards. Whether you’re an emerging talent in the software engineering field or nearing the completion of your studies, if you’re eager to dive into the world of quality assurance and contribute to our success, we want to hear from you.

✨ What will you be doing?

 

• Analyze and understand requirements, aligning them with the needs of the Business and End Users.

• Interpret and identify Business requirements for the development of Use Cases and Test Cases.

• Execute Functional, Usability, Compatibility, and Regression QA plans.

• Develop, Execute, and Monitor test cases, tracking Testing execution plans.

• Identify potential incidents or gaps in requirements and ensure adherence to quality criteria and acceptance criteria.

• Apply testing methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

• QA tools and platforms, including Jira and Figma (must-have), and preferably Zebrunner and applitools.

• Pay strong attention to detail, meticulously documenting test results and defects.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers.

• Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

• Demonstrate knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

 

💬 Who are we looking for 

 

• Minimum of two years of experience in the industry.

• Attention to detail, a taste for methodologies and a sense of order.

• Willing to learn and being part of a QA team.

• You have exceptional written and spoken English.

• You have excellent communication skills 

• You have strong organizational skills 

• You can handle confidential information

• You have the ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and be comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines

• You are a self-starter, quick learner and highly organized with attention to detail

• You have the ability to follow up; know what’s going on at all times and respond quickly

• You are flexible, patient, persistent and have a team spirit attitude
