WHAT YOU’LL DO

Join our dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing data analytics for impactful decision-making. The team collaboratively shapes data strategies, optimizing analytics practices to drive business growth.

  • Lead large-scale data projects, driving significant impact across the company.
  • Partner effectively with engineering, data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
  • Dive deep into product understanding, team roadmaps, technical architecture, and data flow.
  • Mentor data-savvy stakeholders on data best practices.
  • Expertly design data models (Snowflake, Star, Data Vault 2.0) for clean data structures.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale data warehouses.
  • Track downstream usage and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Excel in SQL with proficiency in window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization.
  • Adhere to and promote performance best practices based on specific database engine requirements.
  • Embrace a passion for data cataloging, metadata management, and adherence to data governance principles.
  • Design systems with a test-driven approach for trapping bad-quality data and highlighting alerts.
  • Utilize tools like dbt for building efficient data transformation pipelines.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data/analytics engineering.
  • Proven expertise in SQL, data modeling, and data governance principles.
  • A track record of leading impactful data projects.
  • Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth understanding of technical architecture and data flow.
  • Ability to mentor and guide stakeholders on data best practices.
  • Proficiency in schema design (Snowflake, Star, Data Vault 2.0) and large-scale data warehouse implementation.
  • Passion for clean data structures and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
  • Enthusiasm for SQL frameworks like dbt.
  • Expertise in owning and managing dbt projects.
  • Dedication to applying data governance principles at scale.
